  • Emergency and Critical Care

In any emergency, seconds count.  Our experienced staff is trained to recognize a pet shock or other duress.  We spring in to action to stabilize your pet and then begin any treatment or surgery that is necessary.  As with a human emergency room our doctors are in regular contact to discuss your pets condition, give a prognosis, and answer any questions you have.  Emergency care is offered during regular business hours.  In addition, we use the services of a local, fully staffed emergency center.

  • Dental Care

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's dental health.  We use modern and safe ultrasonic dental scaling tools to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line.  Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup.  Veterinarians check each tooth and note any decay or other issues that may be causing your pet problems or will in the future.  When necessary we will medicate or extract any tooth that is deemed a "problem."  Our dental equipment and procedures are much like what you experience at the dentist.

  • Internal Medicine

We cover all areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology; Ophthalmology; Neurology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Orthopedic surgery; among others.   At times a pet's condition requires the treatment of a specialist.  We refer to high-quality facilities, such as Purdue University and Indianapolis Veterinary Referral.

  • Radiology

Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate skeletal and muscular injuries and ailments,  as well as cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary system issues.  Radiology also allows for monitoring of bones and joints as pets age and arthritis and hip dysplasia become more debilitating.

  • Pain Management

Our pets feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do.  We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.  All pets that undergo surgical procedures are administered medications both in hospital and out until such time that the pain subsides.  Elderly and arthritic patients are treated and monitoring to ensure continued mobility and a life that is less painful.

  • Euthanasia Services

Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful.  We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity.  We are here for you, explaining the process and creating the most comfortable environment possible for you and your pet.  We offer cremation services with several body care options.  We will help you choose an option that will best memorialize your pet.

  • Behavioral Consults

Our doctors will assist and educate clients on pets behavior and social issues.  We work with puppy care and proper training to keep puppy and owner happy.   We work with pets that have separation anxiety and other obsessive behaviors, offering advice and when necessary medications to help alleviate the problems.

  • Nutritional Counseling

Some pets require special food due to weight problems or allergy issues, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet.  Our doctors and staff are available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.

Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families.  We offer Home Again microchips, the most widely used microchip product in the U.S. to increase the chances of a family pet coming home safely.
